The theme of the Giver is what makes us human. As you read the book that question comes back to you over and over again. I agree with the authors theme, if we don’t have feelings then we are not human.
I love and dislike the story of the Giver. I like how that even after you get done reading the book you still have questions about it. I don’t like their idea of “releasing” though. I would rate this a 5.0 and I would also recommend this to someone who likes to read fun easy books.
